Watch this space as we get ready for our 100th birthday next year.
Outings
A list of suggested outings has been prepared by the Committee that will be presented to members at each annual meeting. We would like to get expressions of interest and then our Outings and Visits Co-ordinators will research the detailed costs and logistics.
The updated list so far includes:
- Bletchley Park
- Woburn Abbey
- The Swiss Garden, Old Warden
- Cambridge Botanical Gardens
- Garden of Surprises (Burghley)
- Wrest Park
- Kettle's Yard, Cambridge
In 2017 we enjoyed visits to:
- The Manor House, Hemingford Grey - which included a river boat trip
- Flag Fen - with lunch at a local pub
- Ten Pin Bowling at Pidley – with a very good lunch
We have a good start to 2018.
- Roxton Thatched Chapel, with garden centre visit
- Sister Act at the theatre
- Ten Pin Bowling - again
