About our VWI
| Filoxenia Virtual Women's Institute was formed to answer the need for a WI that is inclusive to all women. This group fulfils the issues some women have of travelling to a standard WI. Formed in 2022, we find the companionship we provide to each other of great benefit. Please feel free to browse this site to get a feel for the group. Filoxenia means friendship in Greek, the nationality of our first president. The clasped hands are "friendship" in British Sign Language.
This pennant is displayed at Huntingdon & Peterborough's Federation house, along with all the other WIs belonging to the Federation.
